Great spot! We aren't local but were craving BBQ and this hit the spot. BBQ (pulled pork) was moist and tasty and portions were large. BBQ could've been smokier but was delicious nonetheless. French fries had a great seasoning on them (ask for a side of ranch to dip them in ). The cherry on top was that the restaurant was extremely clean and well laid out and the service was top notch.

Food was amazing! Went in close to closing tonight. Met one of the managers named Tiffany (very friendly and inviting). Brisket Street Tacos were the best! Brisket Quesadilla was wonderful. Prime Rib looked great. We will be back next weekend for Father's day to try this too. What a great place for BBQ!

Stopped here on a Thursday afternoon. Shawn’s has a good selection of barbecue, and plenty of comfy seating. We had breakfast earlier so we ate lite. The honey-spice flavored wings were awesome! Wifey was very happy with her sizable Pulled Pork Quesadilla. Strawberry Lemonade was delish, tho a lil sweet. We’ll be back with an appetite.

5/18/'24 Tried the Barbacoa rice bowl and a salad bowl . Both are delicious and well presented . Older post: I had the Crispy lickin chicken mac bowl Classic mac topped with crispy fried chicken chunks, Fresh pico de gallo,fritos. Their salads are awesome . Sweet tea and unsweet by the gallon available, too. Coworker had a Brisket sandwich that he said it was delicious. Can't go wrong with Shawn's BBQ .

How brisket should be! Moist, tender, fall apart with an insanely good outside crust. Incredible. I’m a BBQ connoisseur and it’s some of the best over ever had. Very friendly local owner and nice atmosphere as well. Coleslaw is amazing too!

I've driven over 700 miles for Shawns BBQ ...Hands down best Burnt Ends anywhere on the East coast!! Please, someone prove me wrong ...The moist brisket is a second favorite. For sides, the Cornbread is so moist and the coconut in the coleslaw is a nice island touch. The baked Beans are meatily amazing and I am absolutely bananas over Nana's banana pudding!! Bravo Shawn, Bravo! As you can see, I am a long time Shawns affectianado that frequented the Fredericksburg branch when it was open. Long live the Shawn !!!

I love me some Shawn's. My favorite meats on the menu are the burnt ends, and all their smoked pulled meats. I have to say that I think you are all missing the best coleslaw in the universe! Look the pulled chicken is great, but it's just perfectly smoked chicken UNTIL you add Shawn's magic coleslaw. I swear I tasted angel wings and fairy dust (may have been coconut). I will see you all again as soon as I make it back out there.

We ordered the Jr Sampler but as we were waiting we were informed they were out of Ribs, which was a bummer as both the wife and I were looking forward to those as well. Still plenty of food. We also got the Banana pudding and the Oreo cheesecake. We had a lot of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow.
